Isowater has been featured in an OLED-info contributed article on the expanding opportunities for OLED display and other manufacturers to sell downgraded and contaminated deuterium oxide (D₂O, or “heavy water”). The article outlines how newly advanced capabilities to purify, refine and upgrade D₂O after its use in manufacturing have created these new opportunities. Click here to view the article.

Our company has stepped up our activity as a global buyer of “used” deuterium oxide in line with our growing capacity to meet the demand for high purity D₂O at a time of dwindling global supplies. This reflects continued improvement in the yield and efficiency of our processes to upgrade D₂O from non-commercial grade concentrations along with the expansion of our processing facilities.

As the article notes, our capabilities were recently validated with the signing of exclusive five-year agreements with two major companies including SUNFINE GLOBAL Co., Ltd., a leading South Korean-based supplier of D₂O and other innovative chemical raw materials.

For many manufacturers, the opportunity to sell their downgraded and impure D₂O means the cost of storage or disposal are eliminated. In other words, we turn a cost centre into a revenue generator.

We invite you to reach out to us about selling and processing your downgraded D₂O. Please email us at info@isowater.com.
