Isowater® manufactures high-purity deuterium oxide (D2O) for commercial sale.
The company’s deuterium oxide refinery, which operates in accordance with Isowater’s ISO 9001:2015 accreditation, increases the deuterium concentration of below-market grade D2O. Isowater purchases this deuterium oxide following its use in industrial processes such as semiconductor manufacturing. These processes can reduce D2O purity to 50% and below.
Isowater’s proprietary refining technology enriches the downgraded deuterium oxide to a market-grade purity of 99.9%. The refining is done on behalf of customers or for sale to other customers. We also produce D2O at higher purity levels of up to 99.99% to meet individual customer specifications.
