Andrew T. B. Stuart, Chairman, President & CEO; Isowater Corporation, B. Eng., M.A.Sc., P.Eng.
Mr. Stuart has been President of Isowater Corporation since its founding in 2009. He has some 25 years experience in the field of deuterium oxide (heavy water), hydrogen and energy technology worldwide including technology and market development as well as customer sales and service. Mr. Stuart has served as President & CEO of Stuart Energy Systems Corporation as well as a member of the Board of Directors of Dynetek Inc. and Hydrogenics Corporation. He is a director and the former Chair of the Board and CEO of Learning for a Sustainable Future as well as serves on the Member Council of Sustainable Development Technology Canada. He has an B. Eng. Degree with a minor in business from McGill University and a M.A.Sc. from the University of Toronto.



Michael H. Meltzer, Board of Directors, Isowater Corporation, B.Comm.
Mr. Meltzer has served on our Board of Directors since 2009 and is a Senior Advisor to the Corporation. He has 25 years experience in business and financial analysis. Mr. Meltzer is President of Concatenate Inc., a strategic management software company. Previously he has served as Vice President Retail Solutions for Accurent Inc. of Santa Monica California after they acquired Tequila Software Inc. Mr. Meltzer founded Tequila in the mid 1990s and grew it to be a profitable industry leader in lease management software. Prior to this, he served as a senior financial analyst for a number of property management firms. Mr. Meltzer is a graduate of McGill University with a B.Comm.

A. James Farmilo, Vice President and General Manager, Isowater Corporation, B.Sc. (Hons.), M.Sc. (Hons.), Ph.D.
Dr. Farmilo joined Isowater Corporation in 2010 and is Vice President and General Manager. He is a skilled inventor, a creative thinker, and an innovative team leader with 35 years experience in technology development and commercialization. He has started, developed and sold numerous businesses in the medical research and medical diagnostic field. In 1994 Dr. Farmilo joined Dako A/S, who had purchased his previous business. He was responsible for the global business of Dako A/S as it related to Microbiology, Clinical Immunochemistry and OEM, leading teams in R&D as well as creating alliances with major drug and diagnostic companies to develop and bring new products to market. Dr. Farmilo holds a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Math and Physics from the University of Alberta, and a M.Sc. (Hons.) and Ph.D. in Medical Biophysics from the University of Toronto.



Joe Porwall

Dr. Joseph (Joe) P. Porwoll,  Board of Directors, Vice President Business Development, B.S., Ph.D.
Dr. Porwoll joined Isowater in 2014 after a 30 year career with Aldrich Chemical Company (later Sigma-Aldrich) where he served a variety of roles including President of Aldrich Corporation and Vice President of Global Supply Chain of Sigma Aldrich.  In addition to other responsibilities he has developed, manufactured and managed stable isotope production systems including those with deuterium.  Dr. Porwoll is responsible for business development activities in the US and certain international markets.
Lisa A. Stuart, Vice President Sales and Marketing, B.A.
Mrs. Stuart has been an advisor to Isowater since its’ founding in 2009 in Business Development, Strategic Planning, and Investor Relations. In 2015, Mrs. Stuart joined the company full time with a focus on Life Sciences, developing business opportunities for the company at international customer focused events. Concurrently she is also supporting Isowater’s efforts to address the High Tech sector’s deuterium requirements. Mrs. Stuart brings 25 years of diverse business experience in corporate development, strategic planning, sales and marketing.  These include senior Sales Director roles at Yahoo! and National Post including launching the National Post’s presence on the web.  Prior to her activities with on-line sales, she had senior sales management roles with the Financial Post.  Mrs. Stuart holds a bachelor’s degree in psychology from Huron College at Western University.




Alistair I. Miller, Senior Advisor, Isowater Corporation, B.Sc., Ph.D., DIC, FCIC
Dr. Miller has been a Senior Technical Advisor to Isowater Corporation since 2009. He has had an extensive career in hydrogen isotope separation, deuterium oxide technology and nuclear energy for over 40 years. He is the retired former head of the Hydrogen Isotopes Group of Atomic Energy of Canada Limited. He is a listed inventor on numerous patents and a recognized expert in the field of deuterium oxide technology. He has a B.Sc. in Applied Chemistry from the University of Glasgow and a Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from the University of London (Imperial College). He is a Past President of the Canadian Society for Chemical Engineering.


The Hon. G. Roy Maclaren, Senior Advisor: Isowater Corporation; P.C. B.A., M.Div.,
Mr. Maclaren provides business and strategic advice to Isowater. After a distinguished diplomatic career including work in Hanoi, Saigon, Prague, and the UN in New York and Geneva as well as a distinguished business career including the President and Publisher of CB Media and President of Ogilvy Mather Canada, Mr. Maclaren entered politics. He served in the cabinets of Prime Ministers Pierre Trudeau, John Turner and Jean Chretien as Minister of State for Finance, Minister of National Revenue and Minister for International Trade. He was also Canadian High Commissioner to the United Kingdom. He was Hon. Colonel of the 7th Toronto Regiment, Royal Canadian Artillery. He is Hon. Chairman of the Canada-India Business Council as well as Co-Chair of the Canada Europe Roundtable of Business. He holds degrees from University of British Columbia, Cambridge University, University of Toronto as well as multiple honorary degrees.
